He has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry with discerning knowledge in banking operations, Auditing and strategic planning. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Bank in 2017, he was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer form 2013
Mr. Andrews W. Darko holds Commonwealth Executive MBA (CEMBA) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and BSC. Accounting from Presbyterian University College.
Nana Boakye Acheampong
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Nana Boakye Acheampong has over ten years of experience in the Banking industry. He joined the Bank in the year 2020 as Deputy CEO. He is an analytical individual and holds a BSc. Biological science and MBA in Finance from the University of Cape Coast. He is a strategist specialised in Microfinance, Mobile Banking, and Internal Controls. He is a chartered Banker and a certified Forensic Investigator.
Ms Vivien Yeboah
Operation Officer
She has over 30 years of banking experience. she was appointed as Clerk and has risen through the ranks from been Agency Manager of Nkawkaw, Pepease Chief Cashier and now Operations Manager. She has knowledge in the area of Treasury Management, Prudential returns, and accounts management. She is a strategic team member of the Bank.
Ms Vivien holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the Presbyterian University College. She has attended the following seminars and workshops organized by Apex Bank: Automated Clearing House, CCC, Microfinance in both Italy and India.
Mr. Samuel Yeboah Ofori
Head Of Internal Audit
He joins the Bank in 2013 as an assistant internal Auditor and was appointed Head of Internal Audit in 2015. He holds Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ghana. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a member of Information System Audit and Control Association ( ISACA)
Victor Yao Gyimah
Head Compliance and Risk
He joins the Bank as an assistance Auditor in 2016. He later became Auditor in charge of Systems and through hard work became Head, Compliance and Risk. Victor’s interest is in area of Banking and accounting. He currently holds B. Com from UCC and ICA Part 3.
Bismark Adu Acheampong
Head of Marketing and Complaints
He joined the Bank as a Microfinance Officer in 2012. Due to his outstanding performance as a microfinance credit Officer, he rose to the position of Microfinance Coordinator. Because of his interest in marketing, in 2017 he was appointed to Head the Marketing and Complaints Department of the Bank.
He has attended training on Sensitization Workshop on Sales and Marketing of Financial Products and Services which was organized by Apex Bank.
He holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Cape Coast.

Kojo Addae-Mensah is the Group CEO of Databank Group with over 20 years’ experience in the banking sector. Kojo started his career at Databank and moved on to Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays Bank and GCB Bank before rejoining Databank in 2014. He is a sports enthusiast and has a passion for education of the vulnerable.
